Music for Development is a non-profit project of Shurer Dhara. We change the lives of the underprivileged children from the slum areas of Dhaka by giving them music education, supporting their regular education by providing extra after-school tutoring, and promoting awareness on important issues relating to social justice, LGBTQ+ rights, and understanding of sexual harassment and domestic violence. We also give them computer literacy and vocational training to increase their chances of employment once they graduate.
